Since I was young, my favorite color has been lavender and when I imagined my wedding day, I pictured that color. During our wedding planning, my fiancee and I were living in Seattle so it was going to be challenging for us to plan the wedding without the assistance from both our moms. My mom and mother-in-law met with Yellow Door Floral Designs and immediately after their first meeting they called me overjoyed with their ideas and vision for our wedding. I had conveyed to both my mom and mother-in-law that I loved lavender, candles and wanted the ceremony and reception to have a romantic feel.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday prior to the wedding, I had the pleasure of meeting with our designer to discuss the ideas for our wedding day. From the moment I sat down with him, I felt at ease and confident with his ideas for the wedding. I am not a detailed oriented person so I informed him of my favorite color and my idea of romance for the wedding and he made it exceptionally easy for me to express to him my vision by asking the right questions and showing me various examples of design and style.
When I think back to our wedding day I am so overwhelmed by how perfectly Yellow Floral Designs created the most magnificent ceremony and reception for us. The creativity of each detail was just beyond words. It took my breath away when I first stepped into the ceremony room, creating the exact feeling that I pictured for our wedding. I am extremely appreciative to their designers for making the process for us so enjoyable. Yellow Door truly has a unique talent where they were able to grasp my few ideas and turn it into a fairytale that I could have never even dreamed of.
